Arrow Cabinets
Affordable And Well Built Sewing Cabinets

Arrow is one of the gold medal brands when it comes to selecting your perfect sewing cabinet.

Since 1943, Arrow Companies, LLC has been in the business of making life a breeze for the serious sewing enthusiast.

They are affordable and well built, not to mention their superior engineering which makes them a space saver in any situation.

You can find twenty-four different products on the Arrow website, including not just sewing cabinets but also several storage options that coordinate with them, as well as a sewing chair. There is something here for every taste and need.

Types of Arrow Sewing Cabinets

If you prefer something small and simple, you can try the Gidget or the Pixie, which are more like craft tables. Mid-sized sewing cabinets include the Olivia, which is a vintage number that comes in stylish mint-green or white; the classic-looking Auntie Em; and the Lucy, which is specially designed for small areas but can expand as needed.

Larger models are the Marilyn, the Betty, and the Sewnatra. All three have extensive storage and multiple drawers, as well as fold-out table options.

The Sewnatra is smaller than the other two and has storage on the left side which includes racks for spools of thread.

The Betty is a corner table, with three color options (many Arrow tables come in a range of colors.) It is the largest and most extensive cabinet, with drawers, a cabinet, and foldout tables. It is designed to fit a sewing machine and serger while still leaving room for workspace, and its corner shape helps it fit any room even when space is limited.

The Marilyn is in the middle range of the largest category of cabinets, falling somewhere between the Sewnatra and the Betty. It has drawers on the right-hand side for easy organization and a thread rack on the left side similar to the Sewnatra's.

Marilyn sewing machine cabinet
The Marilyn Model 302 is the most popular choice for Arrow customers. Its airlift engineering makes it easy to raise and lower your sewing machine; a simple push and even the heaviest machine glides smoothly into place.

Its storage space is unparalleled, with four large drawers, four accessory trays on the door, and a recessed storage compartment in the top part of the table area. Instead of one foldout leaf, as you will find with many other companies, Model 302 has two foldout leaves of generous size. It's no wonder that this Arrow product is the top choice of many customers.

While some assembly is required, most consumers report that it is fairly simple to assemble and requires about two hours of steady work. (This is largely due to the number of components, not the level of difficulty.) The only tools required for assembly are a hammer, a screwdriver, and a wrench.

Once Marilyn 302 is up and running, what a pretty lady she is! The Marilyn comes in oak, cherry, or white finish and can expand to about twice the original size when opened. Arrow also offers a custom insert if your sewing machine is not quite the right size, as well as a quilt leaf extension that hooks onto the back of the cabinet to provide extra space for big activities like quilting.

The Marilyn looks like a piece of fine furniture when closed, thanks to its top-quality materials and stylish construction. It features brass handles and classic design, so that it will match the décor of your room. You won't have to worry about your sewing cabinet looking too utilitarian.

This is just one example of the high quality offered by Arrow Sewing Cabinets, but there are many more cabinets and many more great features to explore. Just visit the Arrow website and take your time to pick your favourite sewing cabinet!
