Bernina 1630 Review
The Bernina 1630 sewing machine features a wide range of accessories such as MR memory that enables letters, numbers, and stitches to be used in combination.
The stitching sequences can be programmed and saved in the memory of the sewing machine or on a blank memory key for recall. You can also add additional designs to the MR memory depending on the availability of the space.
The MR is equipped with 9 memories with 70 spaces each. Another feature is the stitch designer, a computer design program that enables you to create a pattern that can be used as a sequence in MR. These digitized patterns can also be saved in the machine or in the blank memory key that holds up to 25 spaces of memory.
The designer software feature has design programs to be used in your computer that enables you to create customized detailed stitches and designs. These customized designs and motifs are transmitted from your PC to the machine.

I love my Bernina 1630 too. I just finished a vest for my daughter's first grade teacher. It is the apple vest from Cindy Taylor Oates book, and it came out great. The satin stitching is top notch. I used some fancy threads, metallics, and rayons, and it looks great. -Roni
