Bernina 185QEE

I have been using my Bernina 185 sewing machine for two years. I purchased it used for less than anything I have found on e-bay from an authorized Bernina dealer. I LOVE IT.

Other review sites have mentioned that it is all about the dealer and I believe that to be true. The local dealer (who has two stores) has been extremely helpful.

Guide classes are given on any machine they sell and are included in the cost. The dealer also provides sewing classes at a very reasonable fee.

Between the quality service and the quality of the machine itself it has been the most pleasurable purchase I have ever made. I sew almost every day; now I can embroider too.

Whenever I sew on any other brand I really miss the solid feel of the machine; the perfect stitch quality; the easy to use features. I can honestly say that yes the machine and extras can be pricey but when you put your time into anything you make and always receive the results you want it is well worth the money.

I am looking for another machine to take to quilting and it will be a Bernina (when I save enough) and my dream is to purchase a 730 (which interchanges beautifully with 185) so I can pass the Bernina 185 on to my daughter who is looking to start sewing.

What can I say - it is worth the money because it makes all project go so easy and pleasurable that creating just comes naturally.
