Bernina 802

by EUNICE
(trinidad & tobago)

I purchased the Bernina 802 sewing machine more than twenty five years ago and i am still in love with it.

I have been exposed to other brands of machines and none could compare to the durability i received from my 802.

In addition i was able to achieve precision in my sewing; zipper insertions, button holes although manual they were extremely neat. Although a table model there was no vibration which made the machine slide across the table.

Of the twenty five yars of constant use - i am a home based seamstress the only problem I've is the broken foot control ciord imagine that. Best of all NO TENSION PROBLEMS.

I just recently needed to upgrade my Bernina 802 and i am confused with the variety of brands available and i am wondering if they would offer the same durability i received from this one...

If you are satisfied with your 802 Bernina and maybe find it needs some upgrading, try contacting Timothy Hoover, owner of Topsitch Sewing Center, Barnett, MO (573) 378-2700. I bought one from him in 2005 and it is in tiptop shape. I bought an extra foot pedal because he said in time, this part may be hard to find. He is honest and really knows the sewing machine business. His shop is locted not far from Jefferson City, MO. He carries new Bernina and Pfaff sewing machines. I'd trust his word on anything related to sewing machines.

Best to you. God's blesssings.
