On the top left of the Bernina Activa 220 are six of the adjustable red buttons that regulates both stitch length and stitch width to your desired dimension.
On the top right are six white buttons that control the memory function, called the temporary altered stitch memory, which can be easily accessed again whenever it is needed.
On the bottom left are four white buttons that control the needle positions. These four shortcut buttons consists of needle stop up/down, half-speed, pattern-end, and mirror right/left functions.
The twelve buttons on the bottom right are for choosing different types of stitches. It offers more than 100 stitch types, and its dial-a-stitch feature makes moving one stitch to another hassle-free.
This is why most quilters, seamstresses, and crafters favor the Bernina Activa 220. The LCD screen gives you all the necessary information and settings at a glance.
The presser feet can be easily and quickly changed to suit your different tasks. The CFL sewing light illuminates the fabric from three sides for precision.
