Husqvarna S225

I wanted to give Husqvarna a positive review considering that people tend to only share ideas if they are unhappy with a product.

I have owned my S225 for almost 18 years. Initially I wanted a newer sewing machine to sew dance costumes for my daughter and I was always pleased with the results.

Over the past ten years I started quilting and have done a bit of quilt layering but mostly have just used the walking foot to attach quilt bindings. Of course this is in addition to the hours spent piecing each quilt by machine.

The Husqvarna S225 sewing machine has served me well and I continue to be please with it. The biggest problem I seem to have had is a result of having it tuned up.

The fellow who did that last mostly services Bernina machines and he tried to sell me one by saying unkind things about the Husqvarna factory. I'm glad to say and sorry for him that I will never buy anything from anyone who attacks an opponent company.

That has almost turned me against ever owning a Bernina even though I've always heard positive comments about Bernina.

I hope to continue using my Husqvarna for years to come.
