Janome 6125 qc

by Pat Garrison
(Kent, OH)

I have owned my Janome 6125 qc sewing machine for almost 5 years and it has worked very nice and it is my favorite of the two machines I own the other is a Singer.

But when I needed help with questions I went to a dealer and they wouldn't help me with the questions I had as my daughters had purchased my machine online. The dealer wanted $95. up front just to look at it.

I recently have had some problems with the tension and I wanted to learn how to adjust it myself and the Janome dealer wouldn't show me and made a big deal about it being purchased online.

I finally found a sewing machine company which spent the time showing me all I needed to know and the true functions my machine does. I can not find a Janome web site for problems, so I have been on my own since.

I have a Janome QC 6125. I have had it for 2 years and absolutely LOVE IT !!! I have had no problems with it and my local dealer is VERY helpful when I have questions. I will upgrade in a few years with Janome !!!! Best machine I have owned.

NO I would not recommend it! Not enough room under it for hands to change needle or thread. Bobbin case keeps getting out of place, breaking needles and jamming thread. I am so sorry that I bought this machine!!

I am extremely disappointed with my QC 6125. There is not enough room to get your hands under it to thread or change the needle. Also like the post from Michelle it keeps getting put of place and clogging up thread and breaking needles.
I am so sorry that I bought this machine!!!!

I have had terrible trouble with my 6125. It has been back to the shop 4 times. the problem seems to be with the black casing which the spool sits in. This spins out of line and breaks the needle. Beautiful machine when it works but overall very disappointed.

Don't know how old your machine is, but why even tell anyone that it was purchased online? Any Janome dealer will stand behind the product...if they don't, I'd contact the Janome Corporation and let them know...I have owned one for about 5 years, and it is my favorite of my 2 machines - BTW my other one is also a Janome...I think they're the best for the money...would love to upgrade to a Bernina with stitch regulator, but maybe in my next life... hope this helps...
