Love how it is so easy to program a decorated stitch with the Janome DC2010 sewing machine. Buttonholes are so easy to use. The Janome DC2010 also has a handle to carry.

Colorful with a green facing on the front. Everything is visual on the front. It has a threader for the needle and the bobbin is drop in from the top.

Easy to clean and remove bobbin. Needle up and down, back stitch all push button. Computerized but oh so easy, even my granddaughter can program the stitch she wants, no math involved, just push and go. Stitch width and stitch length quite easy to use.

stitch types for the DC2010

what type of stitches does the DC2010 have for
garment sewing, specifically seam finishes
I'm interested in buying a Janome dc2010,
currently I have a viking classica 105 which
works great but doesn't have seam finishings.

I agree with everything that Sarah says about this machine, my only gripe is the lack of feet available for it. I have been looking for a Felling Foot and a Binder Foot and I am told that they are not available for this machine. If these were available - I'd definitely give it a 5. I did find a snap on Felling Foot for my old Elna 1010 and I'm hoping against hope it will fit the Janome and my Kenmores.

I bought the Janome DC 2010 sewing machine about two months ago. I have used it to make several projects already that I never could have done on my old freebie Necchi!

The stitch quality is really nice, it is so easy to use, smoothly goes over lumps and bumps, and I love the top-loading bobbin. I have not had any issues yet at all! It has really made my sewing enjoyable again!

It is very user-friendly and reliable. It does all that I need and more. I am still learning how to use all the different feet that it came with. The ruffling foot sure is fun! :)
