LIZANNA (MOMSEWCRAFTY)

by LIZANNA BARNES
(MURFREESBORO TNN)

My sewing (therapy) room is configured in a U shape. I have an almost 40 year old Kenmore that is a workaholic, a Janome MemoryCraft, a Brother embroidery machine, a serger, an old Singer Featherweight that my daughter got for me, and another portable machine that I got at a garage sale because it was high on the CUTE FACTOR.

Each one has it's own work station with everything that goes with that particular machine. But the greatest thing is an old medicine cart that I got at work. The large narcotic drawer now holds fabric paints, the metal slide out tray on the side is a great place to set my little travel iron, all the little med drawers hold all kinds of "notions", the large traw on the bottom is where I store my iron, pressing ham, ets.

I made a pressing mat to fit the top of the cart and cut one of my rotary cutting mats to fit the top.Of course It rolls anywhere I need it. Best 20 dollars I ever spent.
