Necchi 4825

I'm having a lot of trouble with the Necchi 4825 sewing machine. After using it with little trouble, I changed the needle. That's when the trouble started.
The needle is very hard to change. The part where it seats is very wobbly and you cannot ever feel sure the the needle is in right. It just always feels wrong. Sure enough, after changing the needle for the first time, it stopped catching the bobbin thread. I've tried trouble shooting, but am stumped.
Also, I love using a walking foot. The Necchi 4825 machine makes using the walking foot very difficult because it is impossible to raise the needle all the way up while the walking foot is installed, unless you let the foot down.
The screw that you have to loosen to install the walking foot is very, very hard to handle, it has to be tightened and loosened with a screwdriver -- it's impossible to use your fingers because it's such a tight space. And the slot for the screwdriver is so big that the screwdriver slips around a lot -- it's just really hard.
I got all the special feet when I bought it. The salesman said I could learn how to use them by going to www.creativesewingsolutions.com.
But only one of the illustrations matched the feet that I have. So it will have to be trial and error with these feet -- which I hate.
The salesperson also said the Necchi 4825 also worked like a serger -- but although I see how the cutter works, I cannot figure out how to get the stitch right, or how to use the double needle.
I'm going to send it back, because at this point, it won't sew correctly. I only used it two days and am already frustrated.
