THE PFAFF 2124 SEWING MACHINE IS A TOTAL LEMON! I HAVE HAD IT ABOUT 4 YEARS, MOST OF WHICH IT HAS BEEN IN FOR REPAIRS.

IT HAS GREAT POWER FOR HEAVY DUTY SEWING, SUCH AS ON JEANS, BUT THE EMBROIDERY FUNCTIONS KEEP GOING OUT. WHEN IT WORKS THE EMBROIDERY IS VERY NICE.

THE STORE HAS BEEN GREAT ABOUT GIVING ME A LONER OF THE SAME MODEL, ONE THAT WORKS, BUT KEEPS GIVING ME THE BRUSH-OFF ABOUT TALKING TO THE PFAFF REPRESENTATIVE ABOUT THAT FACT THAT IT IS A LEMON.

hiya, what about you speaking to the pfaff representative yourself why wait for some dick in a shop to do it for you. be forceful or they will just wipe their feet on you. get on to pfaff customer service and keep bombarding them with emails, i did. if the loan machine is working fine then refuse to give it back as it works better than the lemon they keep plugging you with and tell them this and then the ball is in their court. don't forget they are getting paid every time they mend this lemon and it is a constant source of income for them. do you think they care about you. don't be silly they care about themselves. wise up and don't let this happen. if it comes to a set to in the shop well then that's what it takes to get something done. get hold of the owner of the shop and tell him that you are not happy with the way they are treating you as a customer and if he doesn't shake his arse you will do it for him by way of trading standards and a court case. don't be quiet my lovely as they are taking the piss. DO SOMETHING BEFORE YOUR WARRANTY RUNS OUT AND THEY WIPE THEIR HANDS OF IT, COS THEN YOU REALLY ARE STUCK WITH A LEMON. hope this helps regards helena. let me know how you get on.

I have had the 2124 since it came out with no problems. How about asking the dealer if you can trade for the loaner.

HELP WITH PFAFF 2124 PLEASE

I can't get my 2124 to even straight stitch. Needle doesn't go up and down. Motor just purrs. Help

I had my Pfaff 2124 for almost 6 years now. I absolutely love it, no problems whatsoever. I embroider and sew frequently and love my machine. I used cheaper machines before (brother) and it was ok, not even comparable to my pfaff.

Sorry about your luck, but like someone already said, you really need to press on the repair people and refuse to give up a loaner. I would also warn them about contacting BBB. Good luck!

I have had the Pfaff 2124 for 4 years and it has been a wonderful machine for me. The only problem I have had is with the bobbin winder, but I solved that and purchased a "sidewinder" that winds bobbins perfectly and in a snap. For every other function, and as I have been on a learning curve with the embroidery software, it has worked very well. I do wish, however, that it didn't sound like it was breaking when I turn on the machine. It makes a funny noise that sounds like nails on a chalkboard, but once it's on, it works fine - or at least that has been my experience thus far.

Sewing machines should be built to last 25 - 50 years. My grandmother's Singer still works! Technology should update a machine, not out-date a machine and make it unusable.

I am so sorry you have had so many issues with your machine, but I will say this - it doesn't matter what brand of sewing machine or product you purchase, there are bound to be lemons. Unfortunately, you got one of them. Write the company, call the corporate offices, write them again if necessary, but get them to provide you with a good machine. That is there responsibility, but you first have to empower yourself with information - what problems you are having, etc. Write them down with explanations of what you were doing when this broke or that happened. I believe in Pfaff and believe that their customer service will put your needs first. I hope so.

Phaff will not work

My phaff 2124 has been wonderful until the holidays when I really needed it to work. It will not even turn on. Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to fix it. I have unplugged and replugged everything and nothing seems to work.
