Singer 4830C sewing machine

I love my Singer 4830C sewing machine!!! It is so easy to use, has a good assortment of stitches. To me, Singer is the very best.

This is about my third machine and you don't have to get used to it, anything that is different is so very easy. It is light weight, I am disabled and have a loss of strength, but I can pick this up and put it on the table to sew. The instruction book that Singer puts out is very detailed and easy to understand.

There have been times I haven't used my machine in a while and if I can't remember setting for a certain stitch, it is so easy to find it. I went to a sewing machine dealer and repair store and they tried to sell me a Janome and some other brand. After looking at it and trying it, I still wanted my Singer.

Oh, and by the way, I learned to sew on my Great-Grandmother's White treadle sewing machine in the 1960s. It was in the early 70s that I got my first Singer and I have used nothing but since. I also like the fact that you can purchase a very basic model or you can go all the way and get every bell and whistle there is.

I will be getting a new Singer and giving this one to my Mom, who is also a fan of Singer machines.
