Singer 7462 Touch & sew

by Martha
(Altanta Texas USA )

Been sewing with the Singer 7462 Touch & Sew for a week now & love it easy to use bobbin winder is great my last singer the bobbin winder wouldn't work unless you held the thread out and did it.

This one isn't to heavy maybe they undated that problem has a nice handle for toting it around. I have been without a machine for a little over 2 months.

So I have had a lot of repair work on son's uniforms one is a prison guard other is walmart employee. I have been repairing pants for 4 days now.. Have not had one problem at all! Threads easily.

I looked at a lot of machines from different brands and chose the Singer 7462 for value and dependability!!

Golden Touch and Sew
by: Anonymous

The Singer Touch and Sew was (is) my mother's machine, it was easy to operate even when performing so-called difficult maneuvers. It was adjustable in every way that counts and then some.

The angled needle glided through even thick, tight weave fabrics (like 6 layers of denim.) The sliding throat plate made getting at the bobbin a snap and being able to wind the bobbin without having to remove it was fantastic.

I loved that machine, a pity I do not own one myself.
