Viking Huskystar 224

by Shawn
(Portland, OR)

I bought my Viking Huskystar 224 off Craigslist 2 years ago and I love it! It's my first sewing machine and is probably going to be my last. My favorite feature is the self-threader. I've sewn lots of different projects and it has never let me down.

A friend who has a fancy Babylock machine with loads of bells and whistles is jealous of my little Huskystar. I've learned so much on my Huskystar: stretch stitching, zigzag stitching, buttonholes, top stitching. It's so easy to use and so reliable that I've really gained a lot of confidence in sewing.

interminent problem
by: Phyllis

I will be sewing just fine when suddenly it will sew real fast for a few seconds and then stop. I have to life my foot the press on the foot pedel again to get it to sew, which it does for a few seconds. It will stay like that when perhaps 1/2 later of sewing like that it will start acting right again. I have taken it in, but when the shop hooked it up, it sewed just fine. Anyone else have that problem?
