Viking Husqvarna Diamond

by Cam Tidwell
(Silver Spring, MD, USA)

I bought my Viking Diamond in July 09. It has been in three time: thread breaking and missing stitches are the problems that have not been resolved.

I don't think that the store is responsible -- it seems to be a design problem. I was wondering if it was manufactured in China and need the extended length needles?

it should say on the machine where it is made, around about where the serial no is. i have never heard of extended length needles for a sewing machine before. i have always known needles to be standard fitting. can you tell me why if the machine is made in china you have to get a different set of needles for it please.

Husqvarna Diamond Do not buy

I bought the Diamond absolute rubbish. It had every problem possible. Ended up getting a refund as Husqvarna could not resolve the problems.

Husqvana Viking
by: Diane

I purchased my Husqvana viking just over 2 years ago - I do a lot of quilting for a charity for kids quilts. I constantly have a problem with the tension whilst free motion quilting, the lower thread keeps looping and I have to constantly unpick the work.

I have tried many different threads and keep changing the tension but to no avail, it works for a bit and when you get to the end of the quilt, and look, it is horrible.

I paid $2,500 for my viking and absolutely regret it, I have a Brother sewing machine which I purchased for half the price and it is still going. What is Husqvana going to do about this problem, it seems it is universal?
