Viking Scandinavia 200

by Pamela
(France)

I have had my Viking Scandinavia 200 sewing machine for 5 and a half years, and apart from sometimes having tangled knots with the bobbin thread at the start of sewing, I had never had any major problems until last night, when I switched it on and I was unable to use the 'control panel'.

When I press to change the stitch length, or to fix or stop or choose a stitch, nothing happens. There is electricity as the screen lights up and the machine sews, but it seems like it's a programmer problem.

Has anyone ever experienced this kind of problem and if so, were you able to solve it without paying through the nose?
