viking serger s21

by Pansy
(Yorba Linda,ca.usa)

Just took the class to learn how to work the viking serger s21 machine. Found out during my class a screw was missing and the teacher (honest) said the sticker on your machine means they used my machine for a training workshop.

Then I learned that the viking serger s21 machine does very inconsistent stitching and not quality stitching which I could see. Now I'm stuck with a $1100.00 machine that does inconsistent stitching.

I bought this from the dealer in the Irvine, Ca. Joann's store. ( viking dealer in the store)

Dear Pansy,
Pluck up the courage and take it back to the store! This machine should NOT have been sold as new, but heavily discounted as similar to an ex-display model.
You will feel better after doing this, especially once you will - hopefully - get a new one in return. Let me know how you go.

Regards,
Anna

Send it back!

By all means- return that machine- It's defective. And somehow I'm not surprised that instead of holding back a defective machine- to them, any sale is better than no sale.
Return it- I've been incredibly happy with my HV 910 serger and had thought about looking at something nerwer that does the coverstitch, but I'm holding on to mine, until I find a company that is willing to stand behind their products and not sell junk, for the sake of a sale.
Best wishes.
