White 2999 sewing machine

I have been using the White 2999 sewing machine for years now, and it is a good machine, there are just a few safety issues and glitches.

Occasionally the sewing machine will start sewing with the pressure plate up and your foot OFF the pedal. It has sewn through my finger before, and could only be shut off by pulling the cord out of the wall. It would not shut off at the switch.

It also broke my walking foot last week doing the same thing. It has a "ghost" that likes to play games with you so BE CAREFUL! Now I am having trouble with it skipping stitches.

This is also something that it has issues with occasionally. I probably would not buy the White 2999 machine again, but it was a good deal for the price. I just thought I was buying up, but was really only moving sideways.
