I have looked high and low for a White model 844 manual, and even the manual sites that sell manuals don't have it. Someone please tell me where to find one...

I had this machine figured out once, but haven't used it in a while, and am back to square one!

manual for old white sewing machines

Go to the singer site and type in your model number "844". If a list comes up with a couple of manuals, look for the one that with a W prefix, click on that. That's how I found one for my White 960. Crazy, huh?
